The topic of Structural Dissociation holds profound significance, with its multiple layers and components. We will explore the apparent normal person and emotional person within the framework of structural dissociation. Additionally, we will delve into Fraser's Dissociative Table Technique, the true meaning of integration in the context of dissociation, warning signs of structural dissociation, the various names and layers of dissociation, and engage in authentic conversations between individuals with Dissociative Identity Disorder (D.I.D.) and professionals. This module will cover the seven types of dissociation and provide questions for clients to determine if they are experiencing dissociation.
Guiding clients in developing an internal safe space will be our next step. We will address the essential dimensions that complex trauma coaches need to effectively navigate when working with individual clients in this area. As we venture into new internal territories with our clients, we will provide step-by-step guidance through an ebook and individual slides to support their unique process.
Dissociation often disrupts our motivation, leaving us bedridden or struggling to get through the day. Through trauma-informed Motivational Interviewing, we will explore how coaches can build understanding and implement strategies to address demotivational behaviors. Worksheets and client engagement in this module will provide new insights and foster behaviors that support clients in their ongoing recovery journey, minimizing the feeling of taking one step forward and two steps back.
Finally, we will engage in our second case study, focusing on the experiential learning cycle. We will explore the questions that arise from following this cycle and provide practical applications to apply in clients' recovery journeys. This module encompasses all the tools acquired from previous core units, accompanied by a full-length case study that offers valuable learning experiences.
